lately i haven’t been “blogging.” It requires 1. emotional energy 2. time 3. an interesting life 4. introspection and reflection. In that order. I finally have excess reserves of all those components so i will give you a brief overview of the last six weeks or so.

Today, for the first time since August 24th, 06, I went fishing. sort of. I essentially just got a line wet but I did manage one small bass. It was like inhaling after escaping a burning building. Church was really awesome today too. Not that the message was spectacular, it was, but I think I’m really starting to get the point of “church.” –itunes
I pine for this summer. It will be spectacular.

I have begun the fourth week at my first job and given the nature of my work, have had a lot of time to think about life after graduation. It has been a really, really, really, really good process. Its been kind of like taking inventory of my life thus far and how I want it to look in 5, 10, 20, 50 years. One thing I know about myself is that I eat a lot of crow. I wouldn’t go to “Grace Community College” Thusly, I also said I would never go to Grace for grad school. Well, I spent all last night looking at grad schools online and I realized that I don’t have the street cred to go anywhere else. Also, Grace has a program I am really very much interested in with a faculty that I took 9credit hours I didn’t even need because I was so intrigued and stimulated by them. I just sent in my pre-application for Spring ‘08, Masters of Arts in Intercultural Studies. So: goals for the next 5 years

I would move out of this state May 5th, 2007

I would never be a graphic designer, professionally.

i think i may be the first person to have quit a job over facebook message to Nate Munson-
sorry for not getting to you sooner. i stopped in after i found out to talk about it but you were catering and then i just got hella busy. i dont think i can really handle 40 hr work weeks, school and cerulean, as much as i regret it. Working for you has been a pleasure and i will miss it but i just dont think it would be prudent to continue

I regret having an amazing time last night with good friends and good fun. I regret not going to a night on the town because “if you liked Jazz Night (not the real name), you’ll love “A Night on the Town.” I regret working my ass off to establish something big, something (for crabtrat) authentic and then letting it go to seed, to bad seed. I hope my lineage died out last night.
